# Free Shipping Banner

Offering free shipping is a good way to boost your overall revenue. Everybody loves free shipping, and you could take advantage of it.

The idea is pretty simple.

Display a banner on the website that tells users the order will ship free if they purchase more than $XYZ.

This way, the user will reconsider the overall purchase value and try to meet the free shipping threshold.

Here is how you can do it.

The first thing you need to do is [install and activate the Notibar plugin on your website](/notibar/getting-started/installation.md). Once you have done that, [activate the license key](/notibar/getting-started/license-activation.md).

Now, you need to [create a new bar](/notibar/tutorials/how-to-display-a-notification-bar-in-wordpress.md). If you have already done these, you can skip these steps. Now open the Notibar settings and tweak the content as per your liking.

Once you have entered the text, it will reflect in the live preview wizard. You should also enable the button and tweak the anchor text and URL. The URL can be to your shop archive page.

Check the preview wizard to see the live notification bar.

You can also visit the style tab to change colors, customize font size, and more.

You can also tweak it further by [displaying different content on mobile](/notibar/tutorials/how-to-show-different-notibar-content-on-desktop-and-mobile.md), [disabling it on mobile](/notibar/tutorials/how-to-show-the-notification-bar-only-on-desktop-or-mobile.md), [enabling it only on specific days](/notibar/tutorials/how-to-show-a-notification-bar-on-specific-days.md), [displaying it between specific dates](/notibar/tutorials/how-to-show-a-notification-bar-between-specific-dates.md), and so on. If this is a limited-time offer, it is also ideal to mention an end date.
