# How to Show the Notification Bar Only on Desktop or Mobile
Sometimes, you need to display the notification bar only on desktop or mobile devices. By default, Notibar will display the Notibar content on both desktop and mobile. But you can always tweak the content individually for mobile and desktop.
In this guide, we will show you how to show the Notibar content only on desktop or mobile devices.
To do this, [install and activate the Notibar WordPress plugin](https://ninjateam.gitbook.io/notibar/getting-started/how-to-install) on your WordPress website. Once that is done, [activate it with a license key](https://ninjateam.gitbook.io/notibar/getting-started/license-activation-guide).
The first thing you need to do is [create a Notibar on your website](https://ninjateam.gitbook.io/notibar/tutorials-and-use-cases/how-to-display-a-notification-bar-in-wordpress).
To show the notification bar only on desktop or mobile, go to the display settings.
There, you can see an option called **Show on Devices**.
By default, both options would be enabled. But you can choose one based on your preferences. For example, if you only need to show the notification bar on desktop, keep the desktop option enabled and disable the mobile option.
Similarly, if you only need to show the notification bar on mobile devices, disable the desktop option and keep the mobile option enabled.
That's it.
Once you have selected an option, publish the changes. From now on, Notibar will be displayed on the front end as configured.
