# Export & Import

When you need to replicate your Notibar settings from site A to site B, the export and import function will come in handy. Using this function, you can easily export and import bars, global settings, and tracking counters.

Here's how you can use it.

Once you have activated the Notibar WordPress plugin on your website, you can see its settings on the left-hand side. Open the settings, then click on the export/import tab.

From there, you can export a copy of bars, global settings, and tracking counters without any hassle. If you have already generated an export file, use the import menu to bring that data to this website.

#### Navigation

On Notibar → Settings → Export/Import, you can save your bar configurations as a file and restore them at any time.

Below are the detailed settings available in this section:

#### Export

* Downloads a JSON file containing all your bars and global settings. Use this to back up your setup or move it to another WordPress site.
* Tracking data can be included in the export.

#### Import

* File Upload: Upload a previously exported JSON file to restore your bars or copy a configuration from another site. The import replaces the sections you choose. The maximum file size is 10 MB.

{% hint style="info" %}
Note: Importing does not automatically overwrite your existing bars unless you choose to replace them during the import process.
{% endhint %}
