# Display Rules

The Display Options section contains global settings that apply across all your bars. Below are the detailed settings available in this section:

* Single bar: Show one bar at a time, picked by order.
* Rotation: When enabled, Notibar automatically cycles through all active bars in sequence instead of showing a single bar permanently.

Global setting that cycles through multiple eligible bars in one slot:

* Order: Sequential - bars rotate in the order they appear in your bar list; Random - bars are shown in a randomized order.
* Configurable interval (seconds): Enter the number of seconds each bar is displayed before switching to the next one.
* Pause on Hover: When enabled, rotation pauses while a visitor hovers over the bar.

### **Display Tab**

<figure><img src="https://2063119859-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F35jzYIZxvumkpSJGtFtc%2Fuploads%2Fg051vTAzFUtpsrSXdjyH%2FConfigure%20the%20display%20settings%20for%20Notibar.png?alt=media&amp;token=78ba4949-7260-49e0-9cd8-14cb6fb5ae8f" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The Display tab controls which visitors see each bar, on which pages, and on which devices.

Below are the detailed settings available in this section:

### Show On

<figure><img src="https://2063119859-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F35jzYIZxvumkpSJGtFtc%2Fuploads%2F90FBfqUq3Zt75GQaeY2X%2Fshow%20on%20device.jpg?alt=media&amp;token=8202a7ce-27eb-44d7-bcbf-a0c75f8fc89e" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This option decides which device can see the created notification bar. You have two options:

* Desktop
* Mobile

### Page Logic

<figure><img src="https://2063119859-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F35jzYIZxvumkpSJGtFtc%2Fuploads%2Fa1D6gU1yA4P337Q5h359%2Fpage%20logic.jpg?alt=media&amp;token=64eac668-8b76-4bb9-96dc-3d7d9e2d2382" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Here, you will choose where to display the notification bar. The options available are:

* **Display on all pages:** The Notibar will appear on every page of the website.
* **Hide on all pages:** The Notibar will be hidden across the website.
* **Show only on selected page:** Choose specific pages to display the Notibar.
* **Hide on selected pages:** Choose specific pages to hide the Notibar. (Page Selection Dropdown: Select the specific pages from the dropdown menu that appears when this option is selected.)

### Post Logic

<figure><img src="https://2063119859-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F35jzYIZxvumkpSJGtFtc%2Fuploads%2FyFbzvXdcr3KFoR3eZpit%2Fpost%20logic.jpg?alt=media&amp;token=9e5fe1a2-7f1a-4ce0-9a92-90c1a3e2baef" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Same four options as above, but applied to blog posts.

* **Display on all posts:** Choosing this option will make Notibar appear on all the published blog posts.
* **Hide on all posts:** If you need to hide the Notibar from all the posts, choose this option.
* **Show only on selected posts:** You can search and choose specific posts to display the Notibar.
* **Hide only on specific posts:** If you need to hide the Notibar from specific blog posts, choose this option.
* **Other post types:** Show the bar on specific custom post types, such as WooCommerce Products, Events, or Portfolio items.

### Audience

Using this option, you can target a specific audience. Here is how you can use it:

<figure><img src="https://2063119859-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F35jzYIZxvumkpSJGtFtc%2Fuploads%2FcJ5O7ipgKHpnL6h9GeDy%2Faudience.jpg?alt=media&amp;token=9e595817-1a44-4d2c-873a-20ec3f039e6d" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Everyone:** The bar will be displayed to every website visitor.
* **Logged-in Users:** The bar will be displayed only if the user is logged in to the website.
* **Logged-out Visitors:** Logged-in users won't see this bar, but everyone else will.
* **Specific roles:** If you need to show this to a specific user role, use this option. Ideal for B2B stores.
* **Specific users:** If you need to show the bar to specific users, use this option and choose the users from the submit box.

### Country

Using this option, you can target visitors based on their country. Here is how you can use it:

* **All countries:** The bar will be displayed to visitors from every country.
* **Show only in selected countries:** The bar will be displayed only if the visitor is located in one of the countries you select.
* **Hide in selected countries:** Visitors from the selected countries won't see this bar, but everyone else will.

<figure><img src="https://2063119859-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F35jzYIZxvumkpSJGtFtc%2Fuploads%2FGNU2TQzMyxS1TVAgzgnr%2FShow%20country%20in%20Notibar.png?alt=media&amp;token=91b74525-d254-4f5c-86ad-f7b808147b1f" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Once you choose **Show only in selected countries** or **Hide in selected countries**, a country selection box will appear. Search for a country by name or scroll through the list, and select as many as you need.

### Stack display mode

<figure><img src="https://2063119859-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F35jzYIZxvumkpSJGtFtc%2Fuploads%2FDdZXNIPw7EgIDWeVKjJS%2Fstack%20display%20of%20Notibar.png?alt=media&amp;token=55e8e0b0-0035-4a0b-8741-659f9799b596" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

By default, only one matching bar is shown at a time. With stack display mode, you can show multiple matching bars at once instead of picking just one.

This setting only applies when **Show all bars** is selected. It controls how the entire stack behaves as the visitor scrolls, rather than each bar individually.

* **Fixed (stays on scroll)**: The whole stack stays in place on the screen as the visitor scrolls down the page.
* **Scroll away with page**: The whole stack scrolls away with the page content, like normal page elements.

Since this setting applies to the whole stack, the position setting on individual bars is ignored while **Show all bars** is active.
